My husband and I were very fortunate to have worked with the Kimberly Zahand Team, specifically with Josiah, during our home buying process. As our realtor, Josiah was incredibly helpful, personable, and patient. If we had any questions, he would respond in a very timely manner. Josiah actively listened to our needs and worked hard to acquire listings based on our ideal home for which we are entirely grateful!

My husband and I would love to emphasize the fact that Josiah expressed great dedication to us as his clients. During the home buying process, a house with a "For Sale" sign on the property caught our eye, and we instantly knew that we HAD to view it. We spoke to Josiah about the home and apparently the property was not officially on the online market yet. We couldn't believe it! We requested to view the home as soon as possible, since we knew that it would be bought out within a matter of days of it being posted online. After making many phone calls, his persistence paid off. Josiah was able to book us an appointment, and we were the very first couple to view the house! We were relieved, as this gave us an amazing advantage in this overly competitive market. It turned out that we were able to secure a contract with the previous homeowners all thanks to Josiah and live in that home today!

The home buying process was a smooth one; Josiah guided us every step of the way. If it wasn’t for Josiah's hard work, my husband and I could honestly say that we would not be living in OUR DREAM HOUSE. Our realtor went above and beyond for us, and we’re so thankful for his dedication and quality services. We had an overall positive home buying experience, and we couldn't imagine living in a more perfect home! In order to buy a new home, we first had to sell ours. She was very knowledgeable regarding the area we lived in and the area in we were looking to move in. I know why you're here reading reviews, so let me just get those obvious questions out of the way. Do I own a home now? Yes, yes I do. Did Kimberly yell at me? No, no she did not. Does Kimberly even know what she's doing? Yes, yes she certainly does. Did I overpay for anything I didn't need? No, no I did not. Was the process painless? Hell no! I had a small heart attack when I lost my Birth Certificate for 3 days. None of that was Kimberly's fault, but the fee's still scare me because that would cut into my Friday night pizza cash.

I told Kimberly my price for homes, said it couldn't dip into my pizza fund and that that was non-negotiable. Then I proceeded to give her a list of other demands like a hostage taker holding up a Dominos pizza. I'm near Chicago and I aimz ta upgradez my pizzaz.
She actually complied with the list and then some. Imagine a hostage negotiator being overly generous! Here, here are 2 planes for you to escape on and we even got you a Lamborghini since you've stolen enough bank cash to pay for it. That'd be a scene in a movie that would throw you for a loop. But, I digress...where was I?..
Oh yeah, my houses-

So next thing I knew I had houses left and right that hit all the criteria. It felt like I was locked in a chocolate shop during Valentine's day with a personal goal to be diabetic before I left. Free samples left and right! And she had all the connections! If I needed something she couldn't do our conversations went more like
Me: "Can you help with this?"
Kimberly: "I got you. So I know a guy-"
Me: "You know a guy?"
Kimberly: "I know a guy. He can make this work"
I'm paraphrasing here, mind you. But that was the gist of it.

Speaking of which-
If you're looking for someone, ask for "Josiah." I'm only giving you his first name, so that's how you know you're getting the hook up. The man is way to relaxed and down to Earth. Everyone knows that that means he's not nearly busy enough at work. We went to see a few places, walked, talked- Next thing I know Josiah's talked me through my life problems, my irrational fear of my parents creepy basement, and 3 years of my childhood. I sat in my car afterwards wondering if I should fire my therapist or not...

I asked Josiah to run down a few pieces of info for me and I even missed my walkthrough in an accidental attempt to stress him out even more! But, Nope! He was still the same down to earth guy and even went through and tested everything for me on a video call.

Now, I'm happy in my condo. I can have more nights filled with pizza, beer, and bad decisions than I even know what to do with. All in all, they are great people. They tried to make everything as stress free as possible, worked within my means, and stayed in touch. They stayed transparent with me and at no point did I feel like I was going to get swindled. I feel like I lucked out on my place as a matter of fact. They're a great team of charismatic people. Your experience might be different, but mine was pleasant and I would work with them again if given the chance. To answer that last question you've been thinking, Yes. I can upgrade to the Meat lovers pizza.

We just closed on two houses recently where she was our agent on both the buy and sell side. Among the numerous reasons we were grateful to have Kimberly representing us, some of the qualities I'd like to highlight are her responsiveness, professionalism, real estate knowledge, calm and composed demeanor, trustworthiness, design sense, and respectfulness.

And, last but not least, Kimberly knows how personal buying/selling a home is and it’s clear that she deeply cared about us as clients. A testimony to this is that on our Closing Day, at the final walk-through before the meeting, we walked into our soon-to-be new home, and it was very dirty. I had been so excited to move into our new home and now faced the reality that I didn’t even feel comfortable bringing my kids there because of how gross it was. Despite trying to keep my composure, I broke down and started crying and couldn’t even hold it together at the beginning of the closing meeting. Kimberly got me a coffee and a snack, then excused herself for a bit. When she returned, she surprised us by saying she hired a housekeeper to do an emergency visit to the house *that night* (it was a Friday!) to clean to help relieve some of our stress - and she already took care of paying for it (cue my tears of gratitude)!

To sum up, Kimberly is amazing. I still consider her a friend even though this whole transaction is over. Give her a call, you won’t regret it.
