About Kirk
Kirk is the Managing Broker and owner of Boulder County Realty. At the core, he assists folks that are looking to buy and sell residential homes. His approach is to serve his clients, not sell them.
Having a background in construction, he began his career in real estate in 2004 by buying and renovating several homes along the front range from Denver to Fort Collins. He experienced both the pain and pleasure of coordinating all types of renovations and the subsequent sales once the renovations were completed. Through conservative investing principles, negotiations, and attention to details, he had always walked away profitable. During the acquisition and sale phases of the process, he discovered that many professionals in the real estate industry lacked the attention to details, dedication, attentiveness, communication skills as well as negotiation skills needed to fully assist their clients.
After a few potentially disastrous incidents in which real estate professionals made some major mistakes, he decided that he needed to be in full control of the procedural details so he sought out and obtained his real estate license in 2006.
In taking the experiences and lessons he had gained from doing multiple renovations, he began applying his skill set by helping folks that were looking to buy, sell or do both simultaneously. After receiving tremendously positive feedback from those served, he realized that he stood out from the rest by simply treating every transaction as if it were his own and always having his clients’ best interests in mind- no matter the circumstances. Kirk prefers to serve as a coach and teacher on every transaction rather than a referee.
As a full-time real estate broker, Kirk spends a great deal of time filling an insatiable thirst for knowledge on everything real estate related from attending real estate seminars and courses to finding new and innovative ways to market listings, to driving neighborhoods and touring new listings, to seeking out the best of the best real estate professionals to make part of the team, to keeping up with the ever-changing market conditions.
The sense of responsibility Kirk receives when clients place their trust in his hands to assist in one of the largest transactions in their lives is the driving force behind wanting to exceed his client's expectations.
