As a native of China, Kiu On (Mike) Chang spent most of his childhood and young adult years in the Central American country of Honduras before finally settling his roots in Queens, New York, which he has called home for over twenty years. Before becoming a real estate associate, Mike was a sales manager for a plastics recycling company. In their fifteen years with the company, he utilized his multilingualism (Chinese, Spanish, and English) for communicating and close transactions with clients from different parts of the world (i.e., Canada, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Germany, and Hong Kong). His understanding and respect for other cultures enabled him to form strong bonds with his clients; some have even become good friends. His success in sales can also be credited to his easy personality, persevering attitude, and listening skills. These qualities are of utmost importance when brokering transactions involving multiple parties, which is true whether it's in the plastics industry or the real estate market.
