We pride ourselves on being ‘Do it Yourselfers’ on about any project in life, but when it came to wanting to sell our home and acreage 3 years ago we knew that we wanted a professional to get it done in a timely manner and done right. Knelly Dettinger Of TruLiving Real Estate was the perfect gal for the job. Knelly being both professional and laid-back made the process so simple, allowing us to leave much of our home as-is for the listing photos, gave us timelines and goals to work towards before showings and already had potential buyers in mind. The first showing of our home immediately brought us an acceptable offer. When their financing fell through Knelly already had another potential buyer lined up. That second showing of our home immediately brought us another acceptable offer. Less than 2 months later we had moved out, sealed the deal and even became friends with the couple who purchased our house! Knelly has such a gift for making connections. She has great relationships with all sorts of folks from multiple cities and she can find a diamond in the rough. We also respect and appreciate how she takes the time to find the RIGHT buyer for the property or the right property for the buyer. You can tell that it’s more than making a sale with her. She’s more about helping people to land their dreams and she does with such enthusiasm and grace. As hard as she works at her job as a realtor she always has a smile on her face. If we ever have to buy or sell again in the future we wouldn’t even question doing it ourselves. We’d call Tru Living.

My husband passed away in October, 2020. We had lived in our rural home for 50 years but I knew shortly after losing him that I no longer wanted to live there alone, especially with winter quickly approaching. My son referred me to Knelly and her team since he had done business with them and had nothing but good things to report. Knelly met with me in November, put the house on the market December 5th, and I signed the closing papers in January! I still am blown away by how quickly Knelly and her team put everything together and the kindness and support they all showed me during the most difficult time in my life.
I also appreciated the fact that my questions were always answered in a timely manner and I was always kept in the loop as to what was happening with the sale.

Jess A was our realtor and ended up being our friend. She goes above and beyond what a realtor needs to do. Staging, pics, cleaning, painting, she helped with it all. I bet I could of got her to mow my lawn if I asked. She really went out of her way to help us get our house sold and she did. Jess was a rock star!!!

I invited Knelly over to just talk about the possibility of me selling my house. We talked and I showed her my home and explained my hopes and goals. She explained the process and timelines. I then knew it was the right move for me!

The team had a dumpster to my place the next day!! While going through my home, they sent over someone from their office to help and guide me. In less than a week and a half we had a weekend of showings and open houses!

On Monday we went over all the offers, counter offered some… and accepted one that same day!!

I was nervous before I talked to Knelly… it was my first time selling a house. Knelly and her team always answered my questions and calmed me!! I was happily surprised how smoothly everything went!
They are truly a team who cares and show the utmost professionalism! I would highly recommend them to anyone trying to buy or sell!

Knelly didn't even show us houses, her partner did. While her partner was great, we have lived in our house for almost a year and still haven't received something we were promised before closing. I called Knelly to ask her a question about a month ago and she brought up the promise not me. She apologized and said she would fulfill that. I still haven't heard from her.
