Kristi Vellema

Kristi appreciates the opportunity to earn your business - thank you for reading! She was raised by parents whose families emigrated from The Netherlands to find a better life in the U.S. Their work ethic was passed on to her and her siblings. They grew some of their own food and raised animals. She taught herself to ride horses while still young and cared for newborn calves and her brood of horses. Those efforts as a child stayed with her to adulthood and are now demonstrated as she collaborates with buyers and sellers. Her goal is to always work diligently to negotiate the best price and terms possible for her client's homes while keeping the process as stress-free as possible.

Kristi's parents owned a construction company and that is when she realized she loved the construction industry. Her dream of building her own home became a reality in 1998 and again in 2004. Since then, she has managed another ten remodels. The knowledge she gained from those experiences has really been helpful during her years as a Realtor. When showing homes, she can spot problems and recommend solutions. When a client needs a good tradesman, she is often asked for a referral.

In Kristi's free time, she loves to hike, golf, pet-sit, and travel to exotic destinations. She also volunteers with The Forgotten Children's Fund at M-Bar-C Ranch.
