Hi! I'm Kristin Cheatley, born and raised in Cowlitz County and graduate of Central Washington University. I graduated from Mark Morris in 2001 and went on to obtain my BS in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources, but real estate has always been my true passion. In fact, I worked at a real estate office and got my license while attending college.

In 2011, I took a sabbatical from real estate when I had a fabulous opportunity to work as an HR manager in the Seattle area. Unfortunately, King County never felt like home. I spent weekends coming back to friends and family in Cowlitz County. Real estate became my hobby on those weekend trips home.

I moved back for what I thought would be the perfect job: an HR professional for a local mill. However, when I was accused of being "too employee-minded" by a company leader, I decided it was time to go back to work for myself, where the boss will never reprimand you for caring too much about your people! So in April 2015, I quit and came back to the world I love. It was honestly the best decision I've ever made!

For me, home truly is where the heart is, professionally and personally. I love having a job that just gets more rewarding the harder you work.

Buying or Selling?

Buying a house should be fun, whether it's your first house or your 99th! I will educate you on the entire process, assist with finding lenders, inspectors, etc. and get you into that perfect house to call home.

Selling can be fun too! Downsizing, upsizing, relocating … I'm there to make the process enjoyable. I also know that selling isn't always fun, and am sensitive to needs of families going through difficult times. Regardless of the situation, I do whatever it takes to make the process go smoothly.

Since I returned to the business full time in 2015, I have obtained my Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designation and Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) certification. Neither of these are required for a Realtor, but I decided to get them to help you...the buyer or seller.

About Kristin:

I enjoy traveling (especially if my feet are in the sand), remodeling my houses, clam digging, and hanging out with my boyfriend Ben and our lab Abby. I also volunteer for Make-A-Wish, making kids wishes come true.
