About Kristopher
A Maryland native, Kris has called Washington, DC home for over two decades. Over that time, he's become an expert in the diverse residential neighborhoods and commercial districts that comprise our nation's capital.
Kris discovered his love for real estate while interning at an architectural firm and drawing historic local buildings for college coursework. This passion grew stronger after purchasing and renovating his first home in DC's Eckington neighborhood and his current home in Shepherd Park.
Kris brings strong business acumen, dedication, and attention to detail to his career as a real estate agent. Years of experience in the Library of Congress—coupled with an MBA from the University of Maryland—have honed his skills in negotiation, business strategy, finance, and the development of client-centric partnerships. He is recognized as a top producing agent in Washingtonian Magazine.
Kris is proud to be a member of the Tom Buerger Team at Compass. He believes his colleagues' vast knowledge and network, coupled with Compass' technology platform, will help him deliver a superior experience for clients. Kris is well aware that purchasing a home is among the most significant decisions anyone can make in life. He uses his skills and personable demeanor to make this process smoother and more successful at every turn.
When Kris isn’t hard at work helping clients find their perfect home, he enjoys cooking and entertaining with friends, home improvement projects, gardening, and playing his saxophone on Capitol Hill. Kris lives with his partner Dennis and dogs Ellie and Winston in their 1925 Sears Kit House in Shepard Park.
