About Kurt

Kurt Nishimura is a 20 plus year real estate veteran who brings a wealth of knowledge to the luxury and commercial real estate market. He owns and operates, KN Realty Group, a successful real estate consultant practice for well-known clients that include Pivotal Group, Starwood Capital and Accord Group, focusing on acquiring, asset managing and selling high-end investment properties.

Nishimura previously worked at Pivotal Group, serving as Vice President of Acquisitions. While at Pivotal, Nishimura achieved more than $400 million in sales. He specialized in transforming ordinary properties into world class, luxury destinations. Throughout his career, Nishimura has been involved in transactions totaling more than $500 million.

Nishimura’s specializes in connecting clients with properties, high-end or otherwise, that will allow them to wealth-build. His education and professional experience make him uniquely qualified to ensure sure the properties purchased by his clients make sense on not only on an emotional level but on a financial one as well.

Nishimura is founder of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Agent Association (AREAA) a non-profit, professional trade organization dedicated to promoting homeownership in the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. He currently serves on the AREAA National Board as the 2018 and 2019 Commercial Chair and is the 2018 Treasurer for AREAA Global.

Nishimura earned his MBA with an emphasis on real estate development from DePaul University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Illinois University.
