About Kyle

Kyle Burton, founder of Burton Construction Management, is the son of a General Contractor and Real Estate Developer. Growing up in the business of construction sparked a lifelong passion. Upon completion of high school and then attending Western Illinois University on a football scholarship, Kyle graduated from the prestigious Rinker School of Construction Management at the University of Florida.


Kyle started his career with Turner Construction as a Project Engineer and then Project Manager for large, commercial construction projects at the University of Florida, including the Cancer & Genetics Center and the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Institute.


After leaving Turner, Kyle joined Centex Homes, building their estate home product, as well as multi-family projects. Kyle received recognition while at Centex for closing the most homes in the State of Florida in 2006 at the height of the construction industry boom.
