About Kyle

A lifetime resident of Chapin, Kyle Cannon graduated from Chapin High School and then attended Clemson University where he earned a BS Degree in Forest Resource Management in 2003. Upon graduating from Clemson, Kyle went to work for F&W Forestry where he worked as a forestry consultant until March 2007. Kyle joined Douglas & Company Real Estate in May of 2007 to pursue a career in Real Estate. The economic crash of 2008 taught Kyle the value of hard work and perseverance as well as the need for creative marketing strategies in the face of a less-than-ideal economy. With the real estate market experiencing tremendous growth and recovery, Kyle acquired a Brokers license and became a partner with Dan Douglas in forming Douglas and Cannon Real Estate LLC in Spring of 2013. In 2018, Kyle became Broker in Charge, taking more of a leadership role within the company.

Kyle loves the Chapin community where he continues to reside with his wife Kelly and his three children, Kate, Kolton, and Kane. In his free time, Kyle enjoys hunting, fishing, Clemson football, and spending time with his friends and family. He is a lifetime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Chapin where he has served on church council.
