Lamar Hough

Lamar Hough, moved from Washington D.C. to Prince George's County at the age of seven and attended PGCPS where he graduated from Friendly High School in 1991. He began his higher education at the University of Maryland College Park. After 2 years, he took his talent to the University of Maryland Baltimore County where he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems. Shortly after graduating from college, he moved to Connecticut to start a career in IT with IBM. This is where Lamar experienced his first taste of real estate. He began investing in rental properties. In 2003, after he returned to the DMV area, he decided to take his real estate interests more seriously and became a realtor. In 2005, he took another leap and became a licensed Loan Officer. In 2006, Lamar teamed up with Michael Goss and another partner to open an Exit Realty franchise. Unfortunately, in 2010 when the real estate market was recovering from its nosedive in 2008, the team decided that the franchise route was no longer the direction they wanted to continue. In 2018 SRG Platinum Real Estate was established and transitioned to become a Coldwell Banker office in May 2022. Lamar will continue to grow with the added support they’ll receive by being part of the Coldwell Banker family.
