Lane helped us find the mid-century charmer of our dreams, and I do not exaggerate when I say we could not have done it without her. She got us in to the see house at 7:00 a.m. on a Friday because she was heading out of town for the weekend and didn't want us to miss out with how crazy the market was. It was extremely competitive, with 16 offers over asking price and flippers offering cash. Luckily, we had Lane! Along with Nathan who was handling our loan origination, Lane reassured the seller that we were able to beat out the flippers, and we would take the house as-is with the furniture to give us an edge. The seller's agent loved the constant communication with Lane. Not only is Lane willing to go the extra mile for you, she is also incredibly personable and thoughtful. She helped us get to know the areas we were interesting in and has great recommendations for service providers and hiking trails.

Lane Blake is the best realtor we’ve ever worked with. She is an expert in all aspects of real estate transaction work in San Diego, she is a highly personable / high EQ individual who genuinely puts the needs of her clients first.

A few examples of her awesomeness:
-It took us over a year of searching to land our dream house. Lane never once rushed us, even when we switched our criteria and locations (from mission valley, to north park, to La Mesa / Rolando, to where we finally ended up in north county Carlsbad).
-Multiple times (5-8 times) through that process when we got stressed out, she stopped the search and met with us over lunch or coffee to calm our jitters. She calmed us down and reassured us that we would make it.
-Multiple times, she told us that our proposed bidding price was TOO HIGH (“you are taking a big risk here that you don’t need to take”), and she was right!

We ended up with a great house that we did not overpay for, and just two years later it is has appreciated well over $250k. More importantly than that, we ended up with a great friend and mentor in Lane. Could not recommend more highly !
