Lara Champ-Mays is a seasoned realtor at Palermo Real Estate Professionals, with over 20 years of diverse experience in Tampa Bay’s real estate industry, offering tremendous insight and service to both buyers and sellers in the Tampa Bay area.

She is a native of Charleston, West Virginia, and was raised in nearby Seminole and Brandon, a suburb of Tampa. Now a resident of South Tampa, she has worked professionally in the Tampa Bay area her entire career, garnering considerable experience in property management, mortgage brokering, and interior design.

Lara began in new home sales for Lennar Homes and Mercedes Homes from Tampa Palms to Brandon. Transitioning into property management, she completed the lease-up of the high-end waterfront property 345 Bayshore, managing sales, marketing, and all levels of retail design, construction design, and interior design.

Following that success, she managed the Davis Island Apartments property for three years and continued in real estate management at Noble-Perez LLC, an investment real estate entity, where she not only worked as the property manager but was the coordinator on all renovation and remodel projects. This allowed her to amass a broad spectrum of architectural and interior home design experience with a focus on improving property value for resale.

She is also an experienced residential mortgage broker and remains an active licensed broker in the State of Florida, another asset to her clients as she can assist in many aspects of the transaction.
