A perfect 10! I’ve dealt with many many realtors over the years and Laura is the very best they come. She lives in the area and has a wealth of knowledge about the market. She was straightforward, extremely helpful, punctual and meticulous throughout the entire selling process, even though we were out of state at the time. 3 other homes in the subdivision came out on the market around the same time ours did and they are still there. Laura is the absolute best. She helped us navigate buying a home while living out of state.
We knew nothing about the area, we just came to her with a list of wants and she got to work! Being that we were out of state, we were really counting on her to understand our priorities and give us unbiased feedback during virtual tours.

We thought we had found “the one” and we sent Laura in to tour it while my husband and I watched on FaceTime. She gave us all the facts, laid out pros and cons, and listened to our feedback.

She left that showing and started scouring for similar homes. She found a perfect comp, similarly priced, with tons of upgrades and none of the potential money pits we saw in the house we thought we loved. Because of Laura, we are in our dream home!
From there, she was ready to go with a team of best in class resources from the inspection company to closing attorney and she kept us informed and on track through the entire process.

Laura was able to sell both of our homes within 48 hours. She has provided physical/digital staging and even cleaners at her own expense. She has also been invaluable in navigating issues found during inspection and appraisal.

Laura does not disappoint, if you want someone who communicates, knows the market and is right on point with fighting for you, then Laura is that person. Laura helped my husband and me sell our house, and she knew exactly what to do to sell it quickly. She created a fantastic color brochure photographed by a professional. The finished product was amazing. Our house looked so good, we thought maybe we should stay and not move out! Laura was absolutely fantastic to work with! We had recently moved to Illinois from out of state and didn’t know anyone in the area. I found Laura at an open house and she spend quite a while with me explaining the process in Illinois and how it all works. She was extremely patient and was super reliable. Laura was fantastic in assisting my husband and I in our home buying adventure! We actually met her at an open house and really clicked with her. She is super personable and was eager to help us find the perfect home. This was our second time buying a house, so we have had experience with other realtors, but Laura just made the experience so much more enjoyable than any of the others did. She was flexible with her schedule and was even able to get us in to see what became our house at a short notice. She always responded to emails, text messages, and phone calls right away (or within a reasonable time frame) and even helped us out after the sale was complete by ensuring we had all the information we needed (e.g. the home warranty information), since she was unable to be at the closing due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In short, you can't go wrong with Laura helping you buy (or sell) your house!

I knew we were in good hands from the moment we met Laura. She has a way of making you feel like you're her most important client rather than one among many.

It's obvious that Laura is well-versed on the ins and outs of the entire real estate buying and selling process. This isn't just something she does as a side gig. She was with us every step of the way and made sure we were on track with paperwork, etc. when we made an offer on a house. The process would have been so much more work and much more stressful if we hadn't picked her as our agent.

The team she works with is absolutely incredible too. The lawyer she recommended made sure that everything was done by the book. During the closing, the seller hadn't completed some repairs that were in the contract AND hadn't vacated the property yet. Our lawyer made sure we were financially compensated for the repairs and for the time it took them to vacate the property. Any recommendation Laura makes, take it. Seriously.

I really could go on and on about how amazing Laura is both as a real estate agent and as a person. If you're even remotely considering buying or selling a property, call Laura. It'll be the best decision you've ever made.

We chose Laura Wenger to be our real estate agent for a lot of reasons. After interviewing quite a few agents, we felt that her experience, track record, skills, and plans to sell our home were at a top level. She was not the only one at this level, but she had two additional differentiators that drove our personal decision. The photographer she used did a fabulous job and Laura out together a nice packaged brochure for our home. We were shocked that our house had an offer on the first day and we just closed yesterday. "Laura is a "true" Real Estate PROFESSIONAL! She handled both the sale of our existing home and the purchase of our downsized townhome. We relied heavily on Laura from start to finish. Her extensive knowledge of the local real estate market, excellence in marketing and attention to detail all combined to provide an invaluable experience. Plus, Laura seemed to be an endless source of resources for everything from lawyers to contractors to moving companies and so on. We began our relationship by having Laura go through our home of 28 years to advise us on what we needed to do to market our home. She identified and made recommendations on repairs, improvements, decorating, and conversely what was fine left as is. Once we had our home ready to go and put it on the market, Laura had a marketing brochure created. She supervised and coordinated all the photography for the brochure and MLS listing which is the best I have ever seen for real estate marketing (and I should point out I come from a printing background). Apparently as a team we did something right because with a little luck we had competing offers on our home within 24 hours and ended up getting over our asking price. Laura was very helpful in negotiating the contracts on both the sale and purchase. Once contracts are signed, there are a lot of moving parts and Laura is exceptional at staying on top of everything, making sure it is all getting done on time. She is extremely organized and sometimes I don't know how she keeps it all straight. On the purchase side of the ledger Laura was great about trying to identify properties that fit what my wife and I were looking for and was always eager and accommodating to show us those properties.
