With more than twenty years of business experience, Lauren Shell is a real estate professional specializing in the sale, purchase, and rental of residential realty.
To better serve her clients, Lauren has attained two real estate designations: Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE). Lauren also further leverages relationships to make connections between clients, properties and other service professionals required for a smooth and successful real estate transaction.
Before becoming a broker, Lauren was the Vice President of Operations for Consejo, Inc., a Chicago based consulting firm that built technology solutions for Fortune 1000 companies. In her role, she was responsible for negotiating contracts, managing company finances and all human resource functions.
Prior to Consejo, Inc., Lauren was a Project Manager at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She managed process development during the construction of Comer Children’s Hospital. Lauren joined the team at the University of Chicago Hospitals through a year of service with Public Allies, an Americorps sponsored program. At the start of her career, Lauren spent five years working in the domestic and international communities for Telcordia Technologies (formally Bellcore) as a telecommunications regulatory and business process consultant.
In addition to her professional experiences, Lauren serves as the Vice President of Communications and Volunteer Outreach for the PTA, along with sitting on the Executive Board for Friends of Lincoln, both non-profits affiliated with Lincoln Elementary, their local public school. In her respective community roles, Lauren has helped raise more than $350,000.00 over the past three years for the school.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and a Master of Science degree from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Raised in Miami, Lauren calls Chicago her home.
