I found Lauren through social media and I started following along her own home renovation journey and I instantly knew we'd get along. It wasn't soon after until I reached out for our own real estate search. She was so patient, punctual and detail oriented throughout the whole process. We saw numerous houses and she kept it real every time I asked her opinion on anything and everything. I value her expertise in home knowledge, renovation, neighborhoods, and literally everything real estate. We are so lucky to have found someone who vibed with us and found us our new home in Santee. Lauren was absolutely incredible to work with! We were first time home buyers in the craziest market, and somehow she kept us on track with realistic expectations, honest feedback of properties, and encouragement during an emotional process. She went above and beyond at every opportunity she could and kept things so well organized and explained. We also went with Laurens recs for a lender as well as home inspector and both were incredibly easy and wonderful to work with. This graceful, amazing woman saved us from a very bad first-homeowners’ buying experience! From the start, she was 100% professional and is so easy to get along with. She helped ensure the process was smooth and made a stressful process so much more bearable. We had a very strict deadline when it came to closing, but she made it work and was always on top of the other logistics! She has an eye for many things and knows what to look for when you’re touring potential homes and can give you an idea of what may need to be fixed, redone, etc. We were pretty picky throughout the touring stage, and instead of just looking at what wouldn’t work for us, she showed us the potential of what could be. We were looking during the peak of the market craziness that is going on here in SD, and when we were continuously getting discouraged, she remained optimistic until the right one came along. There aren’t enough words to say how forever thankful we are for Lauren. Choose her! You won’t be disappointed!

Lauren, and everyone at Team Steele, is amazing. I was living out of state when working with Lauren and my house was not easy to sell. She worked magic and took care of everything. She kept me well informed of the status and eased any worries I had.

I had been following her on Instagram for years and knew she was the one who could sell my house after I failed to sell it the year prior. She was upfront with the buyers about the issues in my house. I felt good knowing that I wasn't pulling one over on them like I had one pulled over on me when I bought the house.

Lauren is one of the most genuine and down to earth realtors I know. She puts in the work. Literally, she patched some of the drywall after a repair. She absolutely cares about and does what is right by her clients. I would recommend her to anyone.

Lauren was great to work with in both the “selling” & “buying” process of our homes. It’s a crazy housing market right now and the competition is insane. However, we were able to sell our home and purchase a new one all within a matter of a couple of months. The timing of everything worked out perfectly (thanks to some negotiating tips), which is very tough to do in 2021.

Of course, we had our share of rejections and hiccups along the way, but Lauren was always optimistic and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire process.

If you want a realtor who is knowledgeable about the market, dependable, and always has a positive attitude, Lauren is the realtor for you.

This is a long-overdue review for Lauren! My husband and I first connected with her last year when we were thinking about buying a condo. Our first meeting with her was over coffee, and we instantly clicked with her. We felt like she understood what we were looking for in a home, and had tons of great advice about neighborhoods that we didn't even really know about, to consider so our budget could stretch farther. Unfortunately due to several factors (the start of Covid being one of them), we decided to delay our home-buying process for a bit. Fast-forward almost a year later in November 2020, when we finally felt ready to get back into the homebuying process again, we suddenly felt overwhelmed by the crazy 2020 market in San Diego. Horror stories abound of dozens of offers being rejected, etc! We knew we needed someone who could get the job done, so we didn't hesitate to reach out to Lauren again! Today, I am so happy to say that we are homeowners, in large part due to the HARD WORK Lauren put in to help us craft the most competitive offer we could while staying within our budget constraints. We only really considered 2 single-family homes, and got our second offer accepted, and if you're familiar with the market, lots of folks end up dealing with offer rejection several times over. Lauren is a very experienced realtor, is more than familiar with the market, and, most importantly for buyers, she knows what kind of offer gets accepted in this sellers' market. She was there for us every step of the way, answering our million questions, keeping us sane when things with our lender started to get hairy, and was in constant communication with the seller's agent to ensure the smoothest process possible. I'm rambling now, but there's just so many great things to say about Lauren. You need someone like Lauren in your corner. She's someone you want to hang out with after this crazy process ends. We can't thank her, or recommend her, enough.

Lauren was highly professional! She was hands on with helping me prepare for the sale of the home, including doing some yard work and even planting some succulents to make my garden look new again! My husband was out of state which made the coordination more complicated but she was able to make it seamless and stress free. The staging she provided accentuated the size of the home and its best features. This resulted in multiple over ask offers when we were expected much less since other, older agents, had projected a lower sales price. She went above and beyond to provide us with the best possible results and we highly recommend recommend her expertise to anyone looking for an agent! Love you, Lauren!

Lauren is a total rock star! We were on a tight deadline looking to move to San Diego from out of state; Lauren was quick to set up initial meetings and showings with us – she came prepared with all the info we would need and the steps to take.
