Laurie Bailey-Gates

A life-long resident of Cape Cod, Laurie Bailey-Gates grew up in Osterville, and for the last 30 years has called Cotuit her home. She understands what draws buyers to the Cape communities, beaches, and activities, and enjoys working with the baby boomers and retirees who are looking for their dream homes on Cape Cod. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts (Amherst), it was there that Laurie obtained her sales license in real estate at the age of 20. Since then, Laurie has worked in the Commercial Real Estate Division for GE Capital in Boston as an asset manager with a $250M real estate portfolio, successfully owned and operated a small business in Falmouth, MA for 13 years, and finally committed to working full-time in the residential real estate industry on the Cape for the past 20 years. She brings local knowledge and area expertise to the forefront. From a real estate family, Laurie has always appreciated the business. She enjoys the high tech and social media aspects of real estate and enjoys bringing buyers and sellers together in this ever changing market.
