Laurie has spent her entire life in Minnesota, except for the years she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She grew up on a golf course in Chaska that was her father's family farm, which instilled in her an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for people and the outdoors. After college, she got married and raised four boys in Shakopee.
During her time in Shakopee, Laurie was actively involved in serving in the church youth group and on the board of the River Valley YMCA in Prior Lake. Recently, after 45 years of living in the southwest metro, she moved to Scandia on the opposite side of the cities, looking forward to serving a new community and getting to know the east side of the cities.
Her professional background is varied, including experience as an Event Coordinator at the golf course she grew up on, Membership Sales and Service at the YMCA, High School Paraprofessional, and Licensed Insurance Professional/Office Manager. However, building relationships, creating connections, and exceeding expectations have been a common theme in all her experiences. Throughout Laurie’s various positions, she always expressed that if she were not doing what she was doing, she would pursue a career in real estate. Finally, the stars aligned, and she decided to pursue her passion for helping people and her love of real estate.
When not pursuing her passion for real estate, Laurie can be found traipsing through the woods with her husband Steve and their lab Ellie. They love to hike and find new areas to explore. Alternatively, they can be found outside by their grill, even in the winter months. She looks forward to meeting and assisting people with their real estate needs in the wonderful world of real estate.
