Leah Van Horn

Hailing from Chicago, IL., being a true midwesterner, I graduated with a Bachelors in Retail Management/Fashion Marketing from Columbia College Chicago. After schooling I stayed in the windy city to explore my young adulthood. I eventually decided to take the leap cross county to the great PNW.

Now, residing in Portland, OR. for the last 11 years I am proud to say over this time I have really learned this city inside and out. Having worked at some of the top restaurants & breweries all over the city allowed me to learn different styles and areas of PDX. I also enjoy actively working with the Rover app to grow my dog sitting business. It’s so enjoyable to invite all different breeds of dogs into my home. I enjoy taking weekend trips up to Seattle to visit family. I love exploring all neighborhoods in Portland. I am always trying to work on making a dent in my long list of food trucks, restaurants, hikes, and adventures.

During the global pandemic of 2020 I decided to switch career paths and obtain my real estate license. Real estate was always something I wanted to learn more about. Becoming a licensed broker also allowed me to become a home owner myself in the year 2022.

I am proud to say I am with my clients every step of the way during their journey to home ownership. Being available for my clients to help with all the interesting questions that can arise during & after the process is very important to me as a professional. My negotiation and leadership skills that I learned in other industries shine through in real estate. I can't wait to meet new clients in Portland, the city I now call home.
