About Leo

Broker/Owner of Pennant Real Estate, Leo Desselle epitomizes hard work, energy, integrity and creative services in every aspect of your real estate transaction. Leo grew up in New Orleans and started his sales and work habit at a very young age. His mother started her own successful tourism business and at the age of 10 he was already working hard for her, cleaning the tour vans after each day. This was after a full day of school, football or martial arts practice, and homework.

During this time, he earned a second degree black belt in Taekwondo, when he wasn't playing football or baseball. Just a few years later, he acquired a brown belt in Judo and Jujitsu and later won a gold medal in the junior Olympics in Judo. This work habit continued all the way through his college athletic career. After graduating from Archbishop Shaw High School in 2002, he attended LSU and played football for the Tigers for the next 5 years.

In 2003, he helped the Tigers win a National Championship. In 2007, he graduated from LSU. He then obtained his real estate license and has continued working hard for the last 8 years in his career in real estate with increasing sales each year.

Leo is a family man with a devotion to God, his beautiful wife, and two beautiful children. An athlete by nature, you usually can find him in one of the local gyms or competing in a local cross fit competition. A healthy lifestyle is a passion for Leo and his family. His wife Leslie is a realtor as well, and does a tremendous job managing Pennant Real Estate and staging homes for pennants's team, and has done Crossfit competitions alongside him.

Leo has been trained and inspired in sales by some of the best from Zig Ziglar, Dale Carnegie, Robert Kiyosaki and others. He has built strong relationships with local banks, loan officers, appraisers, and inspectors so he can offer his clients the experience and foresight to proactively address details before they become a problem. He and his team at Pennant Real Estate work with their clients to inspect, maintain, and communicate in every detail of the transaction, from the first phone call all the way to the closing table. He leads, motivates, and trains his team of 30 other Realtors to communicate with you better than anyone. Pennant Real Estate consistently remains in the top 2% compared to the other 735 local Baton Rouge real estate companies.
