Business Experience
My career consists of a unique combination of 25 years in key treasury, finance, and executive and financial communication roles at large Silicon Valley tech companies such as Cisco, followed by 10 years as an entrepreneur and small business owner. These two varied, but related experiences facilitated my ability to transition into a successful 11-year career in commercial banking and now residential real estate. As a new agent, I will be partnering with Mike Machado, a top producing 20+ year agent here in the Coldwell Banker Pacific Heights office as I familiarize myself with my new role.
Personal
I was born and raised in Watsonville, CA, a small agricultural community in between Santa Cruz and Monterey. I graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Accounting, went to work for a tech company that was owned by Corning Glass Works (go figure), married my college boyfriend, and over the next 6 years, had my four children, Derek, Adrienne, Grant, and Zack, who I raised as a single parent from 1990 on.
By 2001, the kids were all fairly situated in life or college, and I left my Silicon Valley career behind to live in Italy for a bit (yes, it was inspired by “Eat Pray Love” and was the best experience of my life!) While there, I had the idea for a consumer product based on the “Love” part of the experience and started a company called Adesso (means "now" in Italian) Albums which lasted until the aftermath of the recession of 2008. During this phase of my career, I appeared on CNBC’s “The Big Idea” and was featured in two books about women and their successes in business.
I’ve lived in SOMA, South Beach and now the East Cut neighborhoods of San Francisco since 2003, and absolutely love this part of the city. I’m a huge fan of the SF Giants (3 of my 7 grandkids were born in the 2010, 2012 and 2014 World Series victory years), love spending time at Stinson Beach, talking to my sister in Arizona every Sunday and hiking around this amazing city. I look forward to working with you on your next real estate transaction!
