Starting as Real Estate Broker in 2009 I have had the opportunity to assist individuals and families with one of the most personal buying decisions they make in a lifetime.
I am a member at the National Board of Realtor's, South Metro Board of Realtor's, National Professional Women, and have the GRI Designation.
My first lesson in real estate of “sweat equity” and the "American Dream" was given to me at an early age by my parents. In 1968 they "won" a home at the Alamosa County Tax Auction for $4800. This tiny straw adobe house with dirt floors, stood on an acre of blowing sand and tumble weeds. My mother and father were thrilled. This shack to them was their dream of having a home to raise their family of five daughters.
For years, my family of seven planted gardens, weeded gardens, grew grass, mowed grass, sewed curtains, washed windows, built fences, hung wall paper, built additions, dug an artisan well and cut firewood to keep us warm. I am glad to have this experience blisters and all. I was part of my parent's team turning four walls into a home. I carry this experience with me everyday while working in Real Estate.
