Lenuta "Lily" Mocanu is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Lily specializes in real estate in many neighborhoods in Queens, and draws on over 15 years of experience in the residential sales business to serve her clients’ needs well and efficiently. She is highly knowledgeable of the market, as well as personable and honest in her dealings, which makes the exciting process of buying or selling that much more enjoyable.

After living in several communities in Queens over the years, Lily settled into Forest Hills. Being so pleased with the area’s richness and beauty, aware of her various abilities, and appreciative that her real estate agent had helped her achieve happiness in finding her home, she became inspired to do the same and share her passion with others. While at Century 21 Benjamin, currently Benjamin Realty, Lily was awarded almost every year for her sales performance. In 2009, she was one a very select few agents invited to speak at a forum presented by real estate guru Steve Harney.

Though most of her business is in Forest Hills and Rego Park, Lily will go wherever her clients’ take her. She is very in tuned to what each building, home and area has to offer, and connects that insight to those things that are personally important to her customers.

Originally from Romania, Lily has a background in chemistry and is sharp and analytical. In her free time, she enjoys biking, traveling, reading and gardening.
