Lily Zhou

Lily was born and raised in China. She came to US when she was seventeen without knowing a word of English and absolutely had no fear. Built and ran The Orient Chinese Cuisine at age 23. Sold in 1996. Started Lily Zhou Financial services in 1999 and became a real estate broker since 2005. Launched the first Chinese Television on Mobile Phone in 2005 Oct. while very few smartphones yet. Collaborated with former president of Philippine Fidel V. Ramos to bring Philippine TV to mobile phone. Started many companies and sold three in the past 30 years. She loves sharing my passion and inspire people around her. Started theZmedia Inc. in 2009 to inspire youth to be great future leaders and entrepreneurs. In 2017, Lily organized and hosted the first Global Women Entrepreneurs Summit (the summit) in San Diego. The same evening, they gave $10,000 to a young fashion designer from Equatorial Guinea for best design. Their goal was to inspire young designers in the world to share their culture through their designs. Lily is one of the planning committee members for Kyoto Prize Symposium (second to the Nobel Prize in the world) since 2014. Brought Steve Wozniak to our gala in 2014’s. Serving five boards and two committees currently. Taught MBA students at SDSU Global Business for the last two years.
