We worked with Linda to sell our house in [the River Oaks area of] Houston while we lived in Los Angeles. Selling this house was more of a major operation than we had thought. After moving to LA we discovered that the slab under the house was not level, so had to have the house elevated, the slab repaired, and the house resettled. We also got the homebuilder of that new home to pay for the slab repair. Linda was our representative during this whole process, working daily with the contractors who were doing the process. When it came time to list the house after having it resettled, Linda spent numerous hours dealing with painters, electricians, locksmiths, carpenters, maintenance crews, roofers, window repair men, gardeners, sometimes using her own credit card to handle immediate processes before being reimbursed by us. She dealt with the difficult renters who moved out leaving the house with major problems. She dealt with the Home Owners Association to be sure that the house was protected during the time it was unoccupied. The numerous e-mails we traded with Linda solving many problems could fill a book. When the house finally sold, it felt that a huge weight had been taken off our shoulders a well as Linda’s. And all during the process she was businesslike, friendly, patient and ever the professional. We must not also forget the many hours of assistance provided by her partner Ron . He was the one that Linda “bounced off ideas” to make the sale even more successful.
