About Lisa
Lisa Patterson has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience spending many years in sales with the federal government and Department of Defense. Lisa started her real estate career over 30 years ago on the investment side. And soon discovered she had a knack for meeting a client and matching them with the right house quickly. Her clients say she is the hardest working Realtor they have ever met. Lisa was awarded the Realtor of Distinction Award as one of the top producing agents in Charleston.
Her true love has always been historic homes, architecture and antiques. As a child growing up in Lexington, Virginia, Lisa followed her real estate investor father to renovation sites, real estate and antique auctions. After college she purchased her first historic property of her own, a circa early1700s home. The rest, as they say, is history. Her friends often say, "antiques or homes, if it is dusted, busted or rusted Lisa will buy it and restore it.” Lisa has restored over 30 historic properties. So, when Lisa met a Charleston boy she knew it was a perfect fit. A great guy, and a city full of history and historic homes.
Lisa feels fortunate to call the historic South of Broad district her home and her work place. Lisa and her husband have restored many homes in the historic district. Currently they live in a historic kitchen house, South of Broad. Lisa and her husband Kip have 4 grown children and one grandson. When she is not working with clients you will find her walking around downtown Charleston with her standard poodle, Sophia or gardening, attending an auction or looking for another antique or real estate project.
