As a lifelong fitness enthusiast and endurance athlete, Liza thrives on the challenges of marathons and trail running. A certified spin instructor, she actively supports others in achieving their fitness goals. She also volunteers with Friends of Griffith Park, promoting environmental stewardship, and founded WOH!—a community for women hikers to explore the outdoors together in a safe and fun environment.
Liza and her husband, Richard, produced an award-winning women’s sports show from 1994 to 1998, which highlighted collegiate and professional women athletes. Their work earned a Bay Area Cable Excellence Award in 1997. In their free time, they enjoy cycling, hiking, and beach outings with their Spanish Water Dog, Gabi.
