About Lori

Lori Thompson got her start in real estate more than three decades ago. “I made the right career choice a long time ago,” Lori remembers. In the years since earning her licensed in 1985, Lori has carved out an intrepid reputation as an agent steeped in community, superlative customer care, and a personal touch.

Today, Lori serves clients across Colorado Springs, with over 30 years at RE/MAX, where she has been recognized for her outstanding track record, earning their Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015, as well as a place in their Hall of Fame. What’s more, almost the entirety of her business is driven through repeat and referral clientele who trust her expertise and commitment. “I’m quality service certified, so my clients are given the opportunity to rate their experience after closing,” she explains. “I’ve been at the platinum level for years, and that little piece of paper means more to me than all the plaques and engraved awards about production numbers. To me, it’s those positive reviews and feedback from my clients that mean the most.”

When listing properties, Lori leaves no detail unaccounted for, beginning with top-grade documentation that showcases homes in their finest light. From there, she secures far-reaching internet exposure through visibility across the leading online listing platforms and social media outlets. She also creates buzz through word-of-mouth outreach to her long-standing network of colleagues, including her participation in Peak Producers, comprised of the top 10% of local Realtors. Whether working with buyers or sellers, Lori focuses on the personal connection at the heart of every home bought or sold. In fact, she has worked with multiple generations of clientele, and has watched families grow over the course of her career. “One of the reasons I like to host events where I get to see my clients is because it’s fun to see their kids and families grow,” she says. “My clients are really wonderful people, and that certainly makes my job even more enjoyable. They really become part of our big, extended family.”

Beyond the office, Lori gives back by contributing to a range of organizations and causes in her community, including the Springs Rescue Mission, Marion House Soup Kitchen, Life Network, and the Care and Share Food Pantry. “We have an amazing community here and it’s important to be involved,” she says.
