Luke L. Thompson

In 2010, Luke L. Thompson graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Washburn University. Luke graduated in the top 20% of his class earning straight A’s throughout the program and induction into Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society recognizing business excellence. Much of his project work was focused on the subject of residential and commercial real estate. In 2003, Luke graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas. In July of 2007, Luke was recruited by Land Kansas Real Estate, and that spurred his decision to return to Washburn University in pursuit of his master’s degree. In March of 2011, Luke joined Coldwell Banker Griffith and Blair after detailed analysis followed by his conclusion that CBGB has the most to offer Topeka's real estate market. Luke is active within the Topeka Area Association of Realtors as an elected member of the Board of Directors. He is a three-year member of TAARs Image and Technology Committee maintaining and improving the Topeka multiple listing service and the primary consumer search engine for residential properties for sale. Luke also serves on TAAR’s Government Affairs Committee. He is Chairman of the Community Relations Committee that is responsible TAAR media relations. Luke works with three different mortgage companies conducting Broker Price Opinions. These BPOs provide him with the opportunity to get paid to practice doing market analysis. Luke also markets foreclosures for these companies.
