My name is Lula Jean Thompson-Burton and I am so excited to launch my new Real Estate career with Lake Cumberland Real Estate Professionals. I’m a life-long resident of Pulaski County. My husband, Samuel W. Burton and I are blessed with 2 children, Allison Burton - Parrott and Logan Burton, and our son -in-law Joshua Parrott, and our daughter-in-law Alisha Lee -Burton.
My Elementary Education degree is from the University of Kentucky. I received my Master’s and Rank 1 School Counseling degrees from Eastern Kentucky University. During my 35 year teaching /school guidance counseling career with the Pulaski County School System, I received multiple awards and recognitions including:

•Best School teacher first runner up in the Commonwealth Journal 2010

I am a member of the Simpson Memorial Methodist Church, I currently serve on the Burnside City Council. As a member and PR Chairperson for the Burnside Civic Club we work to provide college scholarships to deserving students. The Estee Lauder counter manager job at Belk has allowed me a wonderful sales experience, achieving pacesetter.
