About Lynda
Well-spoken and gracious, with a rich family history in Atlanta, a passion for architecture and design, and a gift for serving others, Lynda Brooks is in a class by herself in the Atlanta market. Her family’s legacy of quality craftsmanship in the construction of historic residences that still stand in the area, combined with her innate hospitality, makes real estate a natural career choice.
She studied journalism and marketing at the University of Georgia and gained valuable experience in advertising as a media planner at D’Arcy MacManus & Masius, a background that gives her an edge when positioning and marketing a home. After starting a family, her two daughters became her primary focus, but although Lynda officially stepped away from the workforce to be a mother, her volunteer work for organizations close to her heart helped her build many relationships in the Atlanta area. After her girls were grown and on their own, a friend advised her to explore real estate while putting her passion for design and Atlanta connections to work. As a result, she accepted an administrative position at a Buckhead realty company as a listing and referral coordinator and obtained her license at night, a hands-on education that adds an extra dimension to her expertise as an agent. On her very first transaction, she was able to get a new build under contract in 10 days that had been on the market for nine months.
Lynda has always felt at home in an environment where she can help others. She provides an infectious enthusiasm for a role that is at times a combination of a guidance counselor, teacher, and primary moral supporter throughout the process. Her relationship with clients extends well beyond the buying and selling process. The people she partners with and the clients she serves become friends by the time the transaction is completed, and she has greatly valued those referrals over the years. Her natural empathy and work ethic results in personalized attention to each client and a concierge level of presence. Committed to taking on only as many clients as she can effectively serve, Lynda is personally involved every step of the way, and the results speak for themselves.
Born and raised in Buckhead/Sandy Springs, Lynda currently resides in Buckhead and is glad to be an Atlanta native. She’s watched the city grow into a burgeoning metropolis with a small-town feel and is proud of what it offers in terms of culture and community. A Top-Producing agent, she is proud to show sales throughout Buckhead, Midtown, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Marietta/Roswell, and Johns Creek/Alpharetta. She enjoys giving back to her community through her volunteer work with the Atlanta Humane Society, support of the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, the Atlanta Police Foundation, Feed the Children, and her committee work at Cherokee Town & Country Club (where her Dad was one of the Founding Members in 1956). She is always quick to say that her two best accomplishments in life are her daughters, and when she’s not working with clients, you can find her enjoying time with her family (including three grandchildren) and life-long friends, learning pickleball and golf, taking a walk around Chastain Park and enjoying time at the beach and in the North Carolina mountains.

Lynda's Reviews
3/1/21Tish Wodraska
I interviewed numerous realtors when I decided to list my townhome for sale. Virtually all of them seemed like hard-working professionals, but Lynda stood out from the others. She is quite knowledgeable of the Atlanta metro area and was intimately familiar with my neighborhood and it's surroundings. The real difference is Lynda had a great plan to get my property in front of buyers and other realtors to ensure a lot of immediate traffic. She worked hard, was flexible with her schedule to accommodate mine, and offered great incite while respecting my input. It was a pleasure working with Lynda and I highly recommend her, especially if you want to get your property sold quickly. Thank you, Lynda!
