Lynell Holden is a Northern California Native, now relocated to Southern California, and a mother of two. She has a daughter who is a Marine Corps JROTC student on the honor roll and a son who is proudly serving in the United States Navy. Faith, Family and bringing clients real estate goals into fruition is what makes her happiest in life. She began her adventurous real estate career in January of 2006. In that same year Lynell also became a California Notary Public, serving the community. Her first sale was a 10-unit apartment complex for $1,000,000. She then went onto working for the family real estate business, where she created the Property Management Division, managed the loan division, and various staff, as she also sold REO/Short Sale and distressed properties.
In 2012, Lynell became a Real Estate Broker. She branched off from the family business and started her own female, minority owned company, called Holden Homes Realty. She believes in educating, advocating and always being a servant to our community to help those in need around her. She also enjoys teaching about Budget and Credit, Homeownership and Fair Housing rights. As someone who has moved 23 times in her lifetime, she decided to break the continuous cycle of relocating and purchased a home in 2005, where she raised her two children, and to date still owns that same home.
She has been blessed to earn over 18 years of real estate experience and knowledge from many different professions. Her past professions included Real Estate Salesperson, Property Manager and Home Retention Consultant. Currently she holds licenses, commissions, and certificates and functions in the following capacities to include Certified Notary Signing Agent, Real Estate Broker/Owner, Certified H.U.D. Housing Counselor, and a Mortgage Loan Originator. She has truly been there and done that when it comes to real estate as she has seen it all many sides.
Lynell also has volunteered in the community since 2008 and has served in various capacities for nonprofit organizations on the local, state, and national levels: NAREB, CAREB, Solano REALTIST, Habitat for Humanity as Secretary, Chairperson of Events, Legislative Chairperson, Membership Chairperson, Local Board President, and even up to State President of The California Association of Real Estate Brokers. She currently serves as a Board Member for AGTF Institute as well as the Community and Business Development Manager. She is a member of the San Jacinto/Hemet Chamber of Commerce and participates in the Inland SoCal Housing Collective to further better housing opportunities for the underserved/homeless communities in the Inland Empire.
Lynell joined the NAACP 1034 Branch because she wanted to belong to an organization that has a purpose and is known for positive influence in making change happen in the community. Her goals for the branch are to bring awareness, education and resources to help the branch and community grow and flourish financially by way of using real estate to do so. She also believes in passing on her knowledge and wisdom to help others avoid the pitfalls when it comes to housing and homeownership. Her motto is: “When you know better, you do better, and then you can make an informed decision that is best for you and your family.”
