Originally from the midwest, I relocated to the Seattle area in 1982, drawn to this area by the mountains, the sound, and the outdoor opportunities available here. I had just completed a masters degree in Public Health, which I obtained from the University of Michigan. After working in health care administration for ten years, I decided to leave the corporate world, and join the world of real estate, which had always been of interest to me. Since that time, I have worked throughout the greater Seattle area, specializing in the sale of residential and investment properties. Currently a Managing Broker, I possess ABR, GRI, CRS, and ASP certificatons. Throughout my career, I have taught real estate classes in the community, recognizing the importance of education and knowledge to both buyers and sellers.
I have two daughters, both adopted from China. Jenne is now 20, and a student at the University of Washington. My younger daughter Ella is 14 and a freshman at Meadowdale High School.
I am very active in the Edmonds community, where my family resides. We have hosted international students from Edmonds Community College for many years, which has been a very interesting and rewarding, and sometimes challenging, experience. As a big supporter of Edmonds Center for the Arts, I have served as a volunteer for the past eight years. And when I'm not busy with real estate, my family, and our international students, I am still very active i the outdoors, where I enjoy hiking, camping, and especially sailing.
