With nearly a decade of industry experience and as a lifetime New York City resident, Mara has an extensive knowledge of the City and has seen neighborhoods evolve and take on new personalities, giving her the insight and background necessary to inform clients who want to better understand each neighborhood.

Prior to her career in real estate, Mara worked at IBM where she began as a systems engineer and later sold solutions and skilled services to global customers in a highly competitive environment. While at IBM, she received numerous awards and accolades for her work in the US and around the globe; which helped launch leading edge computer technologies including the early acceptance of computers in business, the widespread use of artificial intelligence in medicine and business and the spread of the Internet.
Having benefited from New York City’s gifted education programs at a young age, Mara attended Hunter College High School and then Barnard College/Columbia University. She is long-time member of Mensa, a collector of early American and English fine art and antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries and is also the founder and president of the Film and Book Club, a by-invitation-only private club, created in 2004. Mara currently resides in the heart of the Upper West Side.
