About Marc

When Marc Gingras and his wife first started visiting family in the area in the early 90s, they decided that Indian River County was where they wanted to live. Through the years they have kept current on the local real estate market, not only to purchase a home but to also gain knowledge for his future in real estate. Being raised in Vermont on a large family dairy farm instilled a work ethic that most jobs are not 9 to 5. His parents gave him the passion for studying and understanding the field of work he chooses to pursue. Using that knowledge with technology has benefited his family and his clients. After studying architecture and buildings in college, Marc worked in the construction field for several years with a design/build company. His job was to help clients with the design process through the building of their homes. He had the pleasure of overseeing the restoration of many historic buildings. Though he was offered a position as a state building inspector, his wife and him decided to move to northern Vermont to buy an insurance agency. Their commitment to work, community, and their clients, more than tripled their business. After experiencing one too many cold winters, they decided to sell their insurance agency and move there full-time. Marc’s many years of putting his client's needs first, community involvement, growing knowledge of Indian River County, and his business experience will be beneficial to anyone looking to sell their property or buy their dream home.
