Marci is an AZ native and currently resides in Mesa, Arizona. She earned her real estate license in 2003, opened her own brokerage, Slater & Co. Realty, in 2010, and received her CRS in 2018. She loves education and serving in leadership. She graduated from two leadership programs (2012 and 2019), has been a RAPAC Major Investor since 2012 and currently serves on AZ REALTORS 2021 Professional Development Committee as Past Chair. She has served as a director at her local & state associations for several years and served as President of her local Women’s Council of REALTORS network in 2013. Her passions are education, travel, animals, music, and her family.
Before Real Estate…
Marci graduated from high school (Mesa), earned her cosmetology license at 17 (Chandler) & worked as a stylist for several years. She spent a few years living on the Air Force Base in Grand Forks, ND & received her Elementary Education Degree from UND. She moved back to AZ and started her career as a third-grade teacher in the Chandler Unified School District. After earning her master’s degree, she worked as the Media Specialist teaching technology & library skills to K-6 students.
