Marcelo embarked on his career as a Realtor® at the young age of 18. His diverse background and fluency in English and Spanish made this an ideal field to build and retain long-lasting relationships.
Growing up in South Florida, Marcelo continuously witnessed the rise of Real Estate around him. He started observing the evolution of urban neighborhoods throughout Miami and set out to be a part of it. Now reaching nearly a decade of real estate success, Marcelo’s reputation as a problem-solver, with a tremendous capacity to put challenging transactions together, has expanded among his peers and the community. He is a highly respected agent whose work and production are exemplary, often receiving accolades and setting neighborhood and building sales records. In 2017, Marcelo became the youngest recipient of EWM Realty’s Chairman’s Club award.
Over the years, Marcelo’s track record has remained consistent. During the pandemic in 2020, he sold three Miami penthouses in Brickell for a combined $7MM total. At the start of 2021, Marcelo sold the last remaining upper penthouse at one of Brickell's most renowned new projects for $8.2MM, setting multiple prices and square foot records across various subdivisions in South Florida. Marcelo also reestablished dominance in the Broward County market with over $5MM in transactions, including selling a $2.6MM waterfront home in Fort Lauderdale.
In 2020, Marcelo was recognized as a Top 20 Under 40 by the Miami and Chicago Mainstreet Organization of Realtors®. He was also a Top 100 Agent in the Southern United States by NAHREP. By the end of 2021, Marcelo became the #1 individual producer in Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty based on the total number of homes sold, and in 2022 an honoree for the National Association of Realtors® 30 Under 30.
