Real Estate for me is finding a home. My background has prepared me for this work, for this calling. Originally from Cuba I moved to the United States in 1981.
I began my professional life as a Financial Adviser. My daughter was born in 1992 and eight years later, we moved to Central Florida looking for other opportunities. It was there that I started Citrus Tiles & Marble.
Shortly afterwards I started a construction business that specialized in remodeling and design. I built up both businesses and successfully sold them in 2006. With the knowledge and contacts I gained from being a business owner, I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate working initially in Citrus and Marion counties before moving back to South Florida in 2012.
Because of my diverse professional experiences, I can provide added value to my clients. With my construction background I can help clients visualize a floor plan and assist them in determining if a house fits their needs; my insight in various Real Estate markets gives me a perspective of values and if there is a client looking outside of Miami-Dade County, I am the Realtor with the necessary network and practical knowledge; and with my understanding as a former financial adviser, I can assist a family in the pursuit of what is many times the largest investment in their lives.
As a single mom I understand the importance of time-management and empathize with single parents and working parents who are looking for value and for someone who understands.
