Summary first. Maria is fantastic. If we buy or sell any real estate in the future, we'll call her first, and cry if she can not handle us because she is too busy.
Details next. We interviewed several other real estate agents for selling a property, and we were not pleased with any of the others. Maria thought we could get our asking price, and we did. (While other agents were very keen on setting a schedule for lowering the asking price when there were no offers.) She didn't bat an eye when we required to be present for all showings. (Other agents could not leave quick enough when we said that.) She was even willing to do open houses, despite the fact we were selling a condo. (Other agents said no, that won't work, and wouldn't let us try. Surprise for them, the eventual buyer was someone who showed up for an open house.) Maria knew all the normal things she was supposed to know, and was perfectly willing to think out of the box and try unconventional things. She was always polite and pleasant with us, never flustered or frustrated, and always willing to answer completely any questions we had. She was patient with us, and gave us all the time we needed, we never felt she was rushing with us to be off somewhere else.
