Maria Kadau

Maria Kadau with Coastal Properties Group International/Christies International specializes in the lifestyle of Pinellas County and its beautiful beaches, and relocating to the St. Pete-Clearwater-Largo area of Tampa Bay. From the initial consultation to the closing table, she saves clients time and stress with her skills in research, rapport-building, negotiation, and market knowledge. She is dedicated to service above self in this industry, counseling clients with enthusiasm, determination, and a results-driven “out of the box” attitude when it comes to buying and selling real estate in Tampa Bay. Maria is a huge advocate of community and civic involvement. She currently serves in leadership positions with the Rotary Club of Largo (2014-2015 President), City of Largo’s Community Development Advisory Board (Chairwoman), Friends of Largo Parks & Recreation (Treasurer), and Women in Networking Tampa Bay. She is an alumni of Largo Citizen’s Academy (2007), Leadership St. Pete (2007), St. Petersburg’s Council of Neighborhood Associations Leadership Program, and the St. Petersburg Citizen Police Academy. She is a former community advisory board member for the City of Largo’s Recreation, Parks & Arts, and the Jr. League of St. Petersburg. She was Rotarian of the Year in 2010. Born and raised in Maryland, she graduated Salisbury University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Philosophy. She then joined the United States Army as an E-4 medic and spent four years in the Maryland and Florida Army National Guard, with humanitarian missions to Ecuador and Panama. That was the best decision in her life. She met her husband David at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas and followed him to Florida in 1998, beginning ten years in non-profit leadership, fundraising, strategic planning, and program coordination at the Pinellas Education Foundation and others prior to launching a career in real estate. Today, Maria ranks in the top 6% among 5,000 Pinellas agents. She is a member of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing (ILHMM) and a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE.) She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Realtors, and the Pinellas Realtor Organization. Maria has two daughters, is active with Tutterow Dance Academy, and trains for half-marathons with FAB 50 Women on the Run. Her husband is a Lieutenant-Paramedic with St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue. They have made homesteads in St. Petersburg and Largo.
