Marianne Fechter

Michael and Marianne Fechter were awarded the "Rising Star" award for 2023 from John R Wood Properties and Christie's International Real Estate.

Marianne Huskey Fechter was born and raised in Charlevoix, Ml where she spent most of her childhood on the water.
After finishing school, she co-owned and operated a luxury residential construction company where she spent time learning and listening to clients' needs, helping design and build their dream homes. Marianne has owned her own construction company and worked as a Chief Operating Officer for others. During her twenty-five years of conceptual design, new construction and sales,

Marianne purchased and remodeled countless homes of her own.
Along with her husband Michael, they decided to take their skills for detail, sales and customer service to SW Florida and begin a carrier in real estate in late 2022. She has mentored sales teams regarding customer service, "understanding your buyer" and "keeping the connection".

Marianne has lived the waterfront lifestyle and can assist you in locating the best property for lake living, gulf-access boating, back-bay fishing, kayaking, waterskiing, or wake-surfing. In addition to construction, sales and marketing she has broken the glass ceiling in the competitive professional angling industry with awards such as Angler of the Year and the first woman to win a major event. Marianne was honored by her peers and awarded The Dave Anderson sportsman of the year award in 201 0.

Her respected network in the boating and fishing industry extends throughout the US, Canada and Europe. She has served on the board of directors for Fishing has No Boundaries, was the director for the Youth Events held by the National Professional Anglers Association for six years, has been a contributor to the Make a Wish Foundation since 2009, and has participated in Wounded Warriors on water.

Michael Fechter is a native of Wisconsin who grew up in a customer service driven family dairy business along with a well-known 40 acre U-PICK Strawberry Farm. Besides a strong work ethic, respect, honesty, and integrity were instilled in him at a young age. After school, Michael took those core values, his thirst for business and acquired multiple companies over his 35-year professional career. At each of his companies, Michael worked mentoring team members and recreating customer service, all while creating growth and value.

He sold his last company in 2021. Along with his wife Marianne, they decided to move to SW Florida. Michael and Marianne then created “LEGACY LIVING REALTORS” in 2022.

He brings with him a lifetime of contract negotiating and impeccable customer service to his real estate clients. Michael is no stranger to remodeling and construction as he has over thirty years of experience of remodeling personal and investment property.

During Michaels’ free time, you will find him spending time with his wife participating in outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing, or taking in a sunset cruise. In addition, he continues to work as a consultant for young companies in need of strategic directions and leadership structure.

Michael has served on the National RPC Board as well local Community Committees and has done numerous speaking engagements in affiliated industries throughout the country. He is a contributor to foundations such as Big Brother Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, Wounded Warriors and My Brother’s Keeper.
