I am a real estate broker and owner of a small real estate company in North Georgia, located in Pickens County. (Franchise world is not for me, unless it's my franchise.). This is approximately 60 miles from Atlanta. My service area is North Metro Atlanta and North Georgia Mountains. My professional background is in accounting and computers (held an active CPA license for several years), in the banking industry. Sounds pretty dull, eh? Most of this time I invested in a few single family homes, and kept them rented. In the last few years I have bought small parcels of land, maybe rezoned and in some cases, had a home or two built. Recently I have invested in commercial real estate land, and I am interested in purchasing some additional small tracts of land for commercial development.
