Raised in Indiana, Marie participated in the arts, cultural diversity, and musical opportunities of New York City. After receiving her bachelor's and master's in music, she moved to the Big Apple nearly three decades ago. She developed a loyal clientele as a makeup artist and counter manager in luxury retail for over two decades. While singing at Hudson Valley festivals each summer, she was drawn by the area's natural beauty. She and her husband, Michael, are grateful to have found and renovated their Victorian 'escape' in Kerhonkson, near their beloved friends and community.
