About Marilyn

Marilyn Wexler has joined Berkshire Hathaway after a 20-year career selling properties in Manhattan at Douglas Elliman. During this period, she was awarded the Chairman's Circle and President's Circle recognition awards.

Prior to her real estate career, Marilyn was an Account Executive in advertising and sales promotion. There she honed her skills in communication, marketing and sales, creating a natural transition into real estate. This experience led to a year-long project to promote two new high-rise condominiums at West Bay Club in Southwest Florida as the Director of Marketing.

Having sold real estate in Manhattan since 2001, Marilyn has a keen understanding of what is involved in buying and selling both co-ops and condominiums. Living in New York City for all of her adult life and raising two sons here (now adults), Marilyn is very familiar with the dynamics of Manhattan and its different neighborhoods. Having bought and sold properties herself, Marilyn is sensitive to the needs of both buyers and sellers. She believes that purchasing a home is one of the most important decisions of a lifetime. It should be the right choice, a great investment, and a positive experience regardless of the size or price. She always remains enthusiastic about finding the perfect home for her buyers.

Marilyn's real estate transactions run the gamut from studio apartments to penthouses valued over $10 million. The bulk of her business comes from loyal repeat and referral clients. Her industry knowledge, professionalism, and marketing skills have enabled Marilyn to bring difficult and complicated deals to fruition. When representing buyers, she helps them understand the process, and for sellers, she is committed to getting the best price for their property as quickly as possible. For all clients, her negotiating skills are instrumental in closing deals. Marilyn's understanding of clients' needs, her patience, accessibility, and follow-through will help make the search for a new home or sale of a residence a great experience.
