If I could give Michael Ferguson six stars, I would. My husband and I are incredibly grateful and impressed with his dedication to us throughout the entire process of finding and purchasing our first home together. He generously gave of his time, showing us countless properties throughout a 1.5-hour driving radius over six months, and he always pointed out to us details about properties which we failed to recognize ourselves. We had never in our history encountered a realtor who looked out so much for our best interest that he actually talked us out of buying a couple properties because he noticed features about them we failed to notice ourselves. His professional training in the appraisal business no doubt helped with that. We are so grateful for his expertise, because in the end we ended up with a property that was much more to our liking. Throughout this time-consuming process of finding our dream home, never did Michael make us feel we were taking too much of his time; rather, he told us it was an honor to work with us. And that is exactly how we feel about working with him. Above all, I credit Michael with being an extremely ethical realtor and kind human being who works in the very best interests of his clients. We could count on him, period. When we were stressed, when we had questions, when we were in the midst of a very complicated transaction, we reached out to Michael, who never failed to offer us the professional assistance and moral support that helped us get through the toughest moments. He went above and beyond in every way: offering us recommendations to service providers, researching every question we had, even if that meant reaching out to colleagues in other domains, assisting with every detail of the transaction, and supporting us no matter what way we wanted to proceed. He spent so much time with us: taking late-night calls, exploring the neighborhood where our home is situated with us during his precious weekend time, and coming to our closing when he is not obligated to do so. Though my husband and I were out of the country for three weeks of the closing process, Michael moved the process forward seamlessly and we always felt in everything he did that he "had our back" more than anyone we have worked with in the past, and more than we could have hoped for in the present. We could not have found our dream home without Michael, and we are so indebted to him for his professional expertise, patience, generosity, and kind-heartedness throughout this process. I never expected to think so highly of a realtor we just came to know by accident at an open house, and he has my utmost respect and highest recommendation.

I enthusiastically recommend Marti and Michael if you are looking to purchase a home. I worked with Marti over the course of almost a year to look through the limited inventory available in the Bay Area. She was engaging, thoughtful and patient. We exchanged prospective homes and constantly tuned our search until we found a good match.

Once we found a match I then worked closely with Marti and Michael to look through all of the details on the property. They were both very responsive and available to answer our questions.

The entire offer process was quick and well executed with Marti and Michael.

I was referred to Marti by my previous Realtor Gina Odom who helped me buy and sell a home previous. I trust Marti and Michael a lot and you would be lucky to have them assist you in finding your home in the Bay Area.

My husband and I met Michael at an open house when we were in town from out of state looking at houses. We ended up deciding to rent first, then when we were looking at buying, we contacted Michael and he was amazing at helping us find the perfect place for us. He was very patient with us and all the houses we wanted to look at, we never felt rushed. He was never once pushy, he wanted us to be happy. He is a very, honest, trustworthy person. He worked through lots of issues we had once we were in tract and he always had our best interest at heart.
He treats us like family which I love. We have 2 small children that he would entertain and play with while my husband and I looked at house. My kids LOVE him, they get all excited every time they see him and they call him Uncle Michael!
I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a realtor, you won't be disappointed!!

My husband and I closed on our first home in April 2019 with Marti and Mike as our agents. I was super nervous about picking an agent, since I had no idea what to even look for- but we ended up being SO lucky to find Marti and Mike. They were unfailingly kind, attentive, and patient... I actually miss them now that the deal is closed!! However, they did both assure me that their door is always open if I have any needs with the new house, even though the sale closed. Mike said, "we are like family for life.":)
Marti and Mike were both always easily accessible (answering my endless questions/texts/calls promptly). They were always the voices of reason when I got frazzled; giving good, sound advice about making offers, and handling any problems that arose with competence and confidence (while always helping me to stay calm).
I found that buying a house can be very stressful and having strong realtors on your side is essential. Marti and Mike navigated us through two offers, a difficult realtor on the other side (luckily we did not buy that house!), a mold remediation, and an unexpected sewer repair. All of the little hiccups were easily handled and resolved by Marti and Mike... and at the end of the day, I ended up with the house of my dreams. I am eternally grateful to Marti and Mike for everything and would 100% recommend them to anyone. I would not hesitate to use them again if/when we buy another house. Thanks, guys!!! I FREAKING LOVE MY HOUSE!!!!!!!

We sold a difficult piece of property a couple of years back, the first realtor didn't work out, we enlisted Marti Meyer and Mike Fergusson to sell the property, they were so easy to work with, professional and nice, they had our best interests in mind but they also had respect for the potential buyers, the property had a lot of sentimental value for us and they were very solicitous of that fact, they were also able to get us over 300,000.00 above the first realtors suggested price. After the sale we still receive to this day offers of free tickets, holiday greetings and cookies, during this Covid event Mike even got a temporary job for my out of work adult daughter. We are so glad to have had the opportunity to work with these two realtors. We highly recommend them.

We moved to Monterey a year ago and immediately contacted Marti to assist with our home search. Her and Mike were more than patient, informative and helpful as we took our time finding the right home for my family. Many trips to Monterey from Scott's Valley later, we finally found our home in Marina. Then Mike and Marti walked us through the stressful escrow process during the COVID-19 pandemic. They provided all the options available to us as we contined forward with our purchase. They are more than real estate agents; they are friends. We can't thank them enough for helping us find our home in the Monterey area! They also were great helping my mom buy her home 6 months prior! I was so lucky to meet Marti! My family and I were on our own, going from open house to open house and met Marti as she was showing one. She was friendly and not pushy at all; I instantly had a good feeling about her. As a first time home buyer, Marti was a great guide for me. She was very clear, honest, and patient. I had a lot of questions and a small budget, so probably not the easiest client. I highly recommend Marti!
