Mary Ellen Barker

Mary Ellen is a Georgia native and has lived in the Atlanta area for over 30 years. She knows Atlanta well and loves its Southern Charm. Mary Ellen is a graduate of the UGA Terry College of Business and received her MBA from Mercer University.

Prior to Real Estate, Mary Ellen worked in International Trade helping Georgia companies launch their products in international markets. She was recognized by the Foreign Agriculture Service and the Small Business Administration for her contributions to business and trade. Her professional marketing experience and success in this field give her real estate clients a marketing edge when it comes to buying or selling homes in the Metro Atlanta area. She enjoys helping her clients with one of life’s most important decisions. Her background and training in business give her the ability to offer clients extra mile service. Her motto’s is: “Treating clients right is not a choice, it’s an obligation.”

When Mary Ellen is not working, she enjoys traveling with her family. She also enjoys outdoor adventure, including hiking and kayaking. One of her creative outlets is designing and creating jewelry. She is very committed to volunteer work in her community, church and son’s Boy Scout troop.
