Mary Jo has extensive experience as a Real Estate Broker and Portfolio Manager for a Real Estate Investment Firm with operational leadership roles in Commercial and Residential Real Estate Acquisitions, Land Entitlement, Construction Rehab, Interior Design, Property Management and Sales.
She has demonstrated excellence in developing and implementing policies, procedures, project management & construction standards achieving repeatable and measurable improvements to quality and timelines on projects.
She leads the effort to identify property investment opportunities that include Single Family Residences, Commercial Warehouses, and Vacant Commercial Land. Manages the effort by negotiating the purchase, identifying the exit strategy; developing and implementing the construction rehab & design strategy; manage the vendors & construction timeline; handling owners associations issues and local authority requirements to bring the project to a successful completion. Ultimately marketing and negotiating the sale of the asset, while identifying and communicating risks and legal issues, keeping costs within budget, and achieving the best margin of profit.
Mary Jo also, implemented the Property Management Program; identifying the properties to be held as long term investments, growing the firm to handle the marketing, tenant screening, rent collection, property repairs, and tenant communications for over 200 property types to include Single Family Residences, Commercial Warehouses and Office Buildings.
