Mary Jo Williams

Mary Jo Williams was born and raised in the southwest quadrant of Springfield, MO. She attended Missouri State University as a Housing & Interior Design student and still has a strong passion for design projects, staging, flipping and even decorating spaces for special events. She is now married, living just south of Nixa. Her husband has been a Nixa Law Enforcement officer for nearly 20 years and together they are raising their four (soon to be five) kids on their small farm. Her and her husband also own Ozark Mountain Gymnastics, Harvest Hill Ranch and they always have a few rentals and flip houses at any given time. For fun, she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, horseback riding, shooting, attending her kids’ activities and doing anything crafty.

In 2016, Mary Jo launched a fundraising campaign called Paws4Pax. She works alongside Autism Service Dogs of America by hosting a variety of fundraising events to help scholarship kids across the US in need of a service dog. It has become a social media push as well to educate and give resources to families in our area dealing with ASD. Over the years, she has served on many boards including DCO, Unified Sports of SWMO, PTA, Include Ozarks, Christian County gun range relocation committee, etc. Mary Jo is a certified USA Gymnastics Meet Director and is very involved in her church.

In both 2017 and 2018, she was the runner up for Rookie of the Year through the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors. In 2018, she received the Bronze Medal Award of Excellence and in 2019 she received the Bronze & Gold Medal Awards of Excellence. Both of these awards are based on real estate production and volume and are an honor to receive. She was most recently awarded the Bronze Lifetime Award of Excellence and the Silver Certificate of Excellence for the number of sales done in 2020. In 2019, she also graduated from the Nixa Citizens Police Academy; a twelve-week educational course involving several real life scenarios. Mary Jo graduated from the GSBOR Class of 2020 Leadership Academy. This was a yearlong commitment to attending leadership conferences & getting involved in the local and state-level political agendas pertaining to real estate, and much more. Mid 2020 she was asked to be a part of the Nixa Comprehensive Planning Committee alongside a handful of other Nixa leaders. Mary Jo also serves as the chair for the GSBOR Mentorship Committee and is a member of the Awards & Events committee through the local board as well. She works alongside Red Truck Construction offering renovated homes and new construction homes, focusing on the Christian County area.

Grateful for the overwhelming business, she decided to grow her business in mid- 2020 by adding an admin/assistant and licensed agent to her team. Nick Tiberghien serves on the Mary Jo Williams Real Estate Group and has shown his tenacity in serving his clients well and getting the job done. As Nick continues to flourish in his role, her hope is to add another team member or two in 2021 to better serve the real estate needs of our community.
