She knows economics, real estate, legal aspects, she has knowledge of design, she is current with interior fashion. In all, you don't need to pay anybody, you just ask and you get the professional answer. We were residence of North Carolina and looking to purchase a home in Warrenton, VA. Mary McCarty was the listing agent for a certain property that attracted our attention. We selected her as our purchasing agent and pursued to make an offer to the seller. Our offer required extensive negotiations with the seller. Mary was successful in obtaining a contractual agreement with the Seller for our offer and we purchased said property. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Mary for any future real estate needs. I found she had excellent knowledge of the local area and was very helpful in aiding me in determining how to price my house. I would have priced it slightly lower, but Mary convinced me that a higher price was where I should be – and she was right. The house sold in 3 days. The offer came in slightly lower and I would have accepted that offer but again Mary convinced me to counter which I did and the buyer accepted. Mary was also extremely helpful in providing a list of professionals who could provide services for items the buyer wanted fixed. The professionals proved to be both skilled and reasonably priced. When it came to the actual closing, Mary had everything in order and the process was quick and uneventful.
