Mary Wallace Collins

Mary Wallace Collins has been a Realtor® since 1998 and has helped hundreds of buyers and sellers navigate the changing market. Helping people transition to a new chapter in their lives has been a central part of her work and what she loves most about working as a Realtor®. She has continued to grow in the industry, earning designations and awards over the years. Mary is an Accredited Buyers Representative and has the National Association of Realtors’ Green Designation. She was a top-producing agent in Jamaica Plain, a neighborhood of Boston, where she raised her 2 sons, Sam and Caleb, and where she met Chuck, her husband, and acquired her bonus daughter, Nora.

Mary has owned a home in Guilford, Vermont since 2011 and loves the community and is currently building relationships with people and place; she has joined the town recreational committee and the Preservation committee. She has held many leadership positions: President of the Main Streets of Jamaica Plain, President of the Business and Professional Association, Secretary of the Neighborhood Council.

Her activism has been a central part of her community activity and she has participated in many protests and actions for the environment and climate change. Mary was also a co-founder of The Boston Women’s March.

She is also a master storyteller and won third place in the “Big Mouth Off”, a competition like the Moth in Boston.

When not working for her clients she is hiking, baking, storytelling, tending her flock of chickens, and organizing.

Mary has deep roots in Vermont with family that settled here in the 1700’s. Her grandfather, Austin, left the Glover family dairy farm in the 1930’s, like a lot of Vermonters, and headed for Beantown. Her 5th great grandfather, Jonas Phillips, was a founding son of Glover, VT. She is happy to be home.
